DAY 1 and 2 of Cruise: NCL PEARL

The trip almost started in total disaster….Jess’s luggage did not arrive into Miami on our plane.  And American Airlines had no idea where her luggage was located.  All of her clothes, jewelry, and other valuables were in that suit case.   Luckily, another guy on our flight found his luggage down at the US Airways baggage area and said he saw ours down there.  Advice to all, after all of the stress we realized that we would be better off next time putting half of my stuff in one bag and half of her stuff in my bag.  That way if you lose one bag then one person is not completely without clothes.   And always carry your Jewelry on the plane!

We got to the Ship around 2:30 PM we were ont he ship in 15 minutes.  The boarding process was the easiest and fastest I have ever been through.   Much needed after the whole luggage issue.

As for the ship, The NCL Pearl is beautiful.  We ate at the Sushi Bar last night…just ask for the specialty plate!! Loaded up on all you can eat Sushi and of course it was extremely fresh.   The Pearl staff is going to get me up to the Courtyard Villas so that I will be able to get those pictures on the blog.   Well, we are off to lay out by the Pool as we are on our Sea Day.  ~ Happy Sailing
