Carnival: Total Choice Dining – Open Seating Option

As Open seating gains in popularity, Carnival announces the option on two ships:

Total Choice Dining – Open Seating Option

Due to the positive feedback on the Total Choice Dining – Open Seating option aboard the Carnival Legend, which was tested on the 6/29/08 cruise, we have decided to begin offering Open Seating aboard the Carnival Liberty beginning with the 11/01/08 sailing, effective immediately.  All booked guests will be sent an e-mail advising them of this option, as was done for the Carnival Legend.  They will be instructed to make their preference known to the appropriate departments.

Guests selecting the Open Seating dinner option will have the opportunity to dine in the main dining room anytime between 5:30pm and 9:30pm.  Guests who choose Open Seating are invited to dine when and with whom they choose each evening.  Open Seating reservations are accepted on a daily basis from 8:00am-4:00pm by contacting a special number from their stateroom.  Alternatively, they will also be able to walk up to the dining room between 5:30pm and 9:30pm and request to be seated.

Open Seating is not currently available on any of the other ships in our fleet.  Additionally, keep in mind that all dining times (including Open Seating) are on a request basis only.
