Carnival Destiny Day 2, Key West FL.

Carnival Destiny day 2 review.  On day 1, we missed our flight and luckily we got on the last flight on stand by.   We got to the Airport 40 mins. early and they told us there was not enough time to get our bags to the plane.  Make sure you are getting to the airport over an hour early..

The Carnival Destiny is drawing a diverse crowd.  We have met wedding groups, charity groups, singles, families, and Seniors.   Outside of their differences they all have two things in common.  Everyone has been very friendly and they are here to have FUN.   This is the first cruise I have been on where I went to bed with the Casino and Night Club still crowded. 

This was my first time in Key West.  Key West, Florida is laidback and fun.  A perfect stop for the Carnival Destiny.  Today was the most fun I have had at a port of call while on a Cruise.  We have already started planning for a Key West Land Vacation in the future because our only complaint was that the stop was a little short.   We went to the Southern most point of the US, drank a Margarita made by Lyle at Margaritaville, stopped by Sloppy Joes, and did a lot of shopping.  

So far, we have only eaten at the buffett for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner due to being a little too tired last from travelling to get here.  Tonight we will eat at the assigned dining in the main dining room.   We will also be going to watch the Adult Comedian tonight at 10:30 PM.  Currently, we are headed to Cozumel Mexico.  I have been posting live with photos at www.twitter.com/cruisesource and you can see some of the photos at http://twitpic.com/gnvm .

This has been a much needed break and it has been great to actually experience the FUN that is engulfs a Carnival Cruise.  I will post another update tomorrow.  ~ Happy Sailing
