Market Crash '08 and Cruising

I am guessing there are many of you out there like me this past week.

I could not take myself away from financial websites.  Sitting there watching the ticker hoping to see the market turn green, only to see it slip further down to levels you could not even picture in your nightmares.   I was like a deer in headlights for the last three days and luckily I was mostly in cash.

At these levels, I will be 100% long in stocks next week.   I would rather be a buyer now then when the Dow was at 14,000 last year.  I am going to buy a 3 – 4 of my favorite stocks at a huge discount next week and not even check back for 1 year.  I will then focus 100% on what I have control over: 1. Working to send as many people as possible on the best vacations of their lives, 2. Enjoying time with family and friends.  The best news for you is that when the market is down so are the prices of cruises.

Just as I think we hit the bottom of the market today, I think we are the bottom of cruise prices.   Go out to www.cruisedeals.com and check on prices for yourself.  You will find that we are practically giving away some cruises.  Or you could wait until next year when the market is on solid footing aan pay a lot more for the same cruise.

The Best News of All: I am leaving for my next cruise next Thursday on the Carnival Destiny.  I get to enjoy my favorites: meeting new people, playing blackjack, being at the beach, and being with my wife.

We leave on next week on 10.16.08.  If you want to watch some thing from your computer during the day besides the market next week, I will be updating live on Twitter while on the cruise, http://twitter.com/cruisesource.
