I returned from the Allure of the Seas Inaugural a couple of weeks ago. Due to hosting the Social Fresh Social Media Cruise 2 days after the Allure inaugural, I am about week behind on this blog post (better late than never).
The Allure of the Seas Experience
Prior to the Allure of the Seas 2 day Cruise, I had been on the Freedom of the Seas, the Liberty of the Seas, and the Oasis of the Seas, but I had never given the Flowrider Surf Simulator a try. Crazy, I know! I’d also never relaxed in one of the hot tubs that are suspended over the ocean or climbed the rock wall.
On most inaugural cruises, I run up and down the ship getting loads of video and pictures for CruiseSource.us. I was on the Oasis of the Seas inaugural last year. As the Allure and the Oasis are sister ships, my focus on the Allure of the Seas was to actually experience the ship as opposed to just capturing it all digitally. Read the Oasis of the Seas Review.
Cruise Vacation equals fountain of youth
As we get older, it is easy to go on a cruise vacation and not actually experience it. We are too busy capturing our kids having fun and not getting out from behind the camera and joining the fun. We’ve gotten too used to the daily grind and being concerned about what others think about us…. Let me recommend that from the minute you step on one of these mega ships that you let your guard down and have some fun. You’ll never see these people again, unless you want to. On the Allure of the Seas, you can rock climb, surf, ice skate, play basketball, and much more. Do it all!
As Royal Caribbean’s tagline says “Why Not?”
Allure of the Seas Videos
Here are some of the video from the Allure of the Seas. These mega ships offer endless opportunities for you to let you inner child to come out and play…. Do it and you’ll return home feeling younger… I did!
