I just checked, and I see that most of visitors to CruiseSource are doing searches for 2015 Kids Sail Free Offers.
As of right now, none of the cruise lines are having a kids cruise free sale.
Will there be 2015 Kids Sail Free sales?
At the start of 2014, cruise sales were off to a slow start for the cruise lines.
In March 2014, Royal Caribbean caught the competition off guard with their first ever kids sail free sale. Several cruise lines quickly followed, but Royal Caribbean had a huge advantage by being first to the market with such an aggressive sale.
CruiseSource was the first to announce Royal Caribbean kids sail free offer in 2014 and if they do it again in 2015, we will be the first to announce it again. CruiseSource is recommended by NY Times for Cruise Sale Alert articles. CLICK HERE to Subscribe to CruiseSource.
Royal Caribbean’s kids sail free sale was actually a 3rd/4th passenger in each cabin sail for free regardless of age. It was one of the most popular cruise sales ever – which is why I guess you are looking for it now.
Later in 2014, Royal Caribbean had a Buy One Get One Half-Off that was focused on 2015 cruises. With these two sales, Royal Caribbean got a great jump start on filling up their 2015 cruises. Royal Caribbean’s Buy One Get the 2nd Passenger half-off sale will end on 1/31/15.
Right now, most of the cruise lines have offers that make cruising very close to all-inclusive. Like Norwegian Cruise Lines Freestyle Choice Promotion that lets you choose between Free Beverage Packages, Free Specialty Dining Packages or up to $200 onboard credit.
So, do I think there will be 2015 kids sail free sale? I think we will see some form of kids cruise free. In 2014, for Royal Caribbean is was across the entire fleet. In 2015, I think it will be focused on specific ships or destinations.
If you are booking a peak season cruise such as 2015 Summer or Holiday Cruises, then I recommend booking now. Rates are going up for those peak sailings. If one of the cruise lines introduces a kids sail free offer, and it is not passed the final payment date then you can cancel and re-book.
So, booking Spring Break, Summer, or Christmas/New Years Eve cruises, I recommend booking now. If you are booking a fall 2015 cruise then I recommend booking now with an agency who does not charge cancellation fees… and then if a kids cruise free offer becomes available you can cancel and re-rebook.
